DJA are based in Machynlleth, Mid Wales, which is about two and a quarter hours by road from Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester or Birmingham. There is a regular train service from Birmingham, with connections to London and the West Coast Mainline, timetables are available here.

Machynlleth is home to the famous Centre for Alternative Technology and has a very active green community with many local companies specialising in renewable energy, eco-buildings and recycling. It is also home to some of the best hill walking and mountain biking in Britain.
