DJA use 3D Laser scanning, photogrammetry, total station surveying, 3D CAD software and Maya rendering software to provide a full solution from capture to presentation. This system allows us to capture existing structures, work with existing CAD data (both 2D and 3D) and import existing 3D data to create accurate 3D models and drawings of your requirements.

Working in conjunction with Geospatial Survey Solutions Ltd (GSS), we work with the latest 3D laser scanning technology to capture existing 3D structures. Whether it be a Listed building, yacht hull or complex pipework system, DJA and GSS can supply a solution to turn existing structures in to 3D data.

Further details of our services can be found in our PDF brochure here.

DJA use use Navisworks Romer software to compile interactive presentations of the captured 3D data. The free viewer is available from the Navisworks website here and there are a variety of example files that can be downloaded.

The files are very large due to the detailed nature of the captured data and will therefore need both a fast internet connection and a relatively fast computer to run on (we reccomend a minimum of 2.4Ghz processor speed, 1Gb of RAM and a dedicated 128Mb graphics card to view the files).

Example files:

Ground floor of 17th Cen. House at Tean Mill (245Mb). Quicktime animation (8Mb)

19th Century mill at Tean Mill (195Mb)

Ground floor of 19th Cent. Mill showing drive shaft details (60Mb)

Upper loft of 18th Cent. Mill at Tean Mill (95Mb). Quicktime animation (8Mb)
